Camp Card - Fundraiser

The scouting program costs money!  The council has put together a simple fund raiser for our scouts to put money into a "scout fund" they can use to pay for activities and events like summer camp.

Late in the month of February, the pack will be picking up the cards and have more information.  Here is the quick basics.

The cards cost $5.00 to sell.

Here are the one time coupons:

Dairy Queen - Free Premium Fruit Smoothie or Julius Original

Burger King - Free whopper with purchase of a whopper

Dunkin Dounuts - $0.99 Small hot or iced Latte

Berkot Super Foods - $5.00 off your purchase of $50

The ongoing discounts

Brunswick Zone XL - Free round of Laser Tag with purchase of a round

Sport Clips - $5.00 off any haircut service

Jiffy Lube - $7.00 Off Signature Service oil change

Microsoft Retail stores - 10% off software & 5% off most everything else

Arby's - Buy a Roast Beef or Beef & Chedder Classic and get one free

Legoland - one free child admission with each paying adult.

As you can see, the value is worth much more the the cost, and it is simple for everyone to recoup their costs.

Keep in mind, when your son is asking people if they want to purchase one and help him pay for camp, he should be asking if they would like to buy two... one for the wife and one for the husband.

How much does this put into his fund?

50% of the money he raises from selling the camp cards comes back to the Pack and available for him to use directly on Scout related activities.  The activities include Day Camp, Fossil Hunt, Chicago Wolves or Joliet Slammers games, etc.

More details and information available late February.
