For recognition throughout the year one of the opportunities is the Academic and Sports Program. The program is made of two awards: Beltloops and Pins. You earn a belt loop to wear with your uniform when you complete three specific requirements for each Academics or Sports activity. You can take part in three ways: (1) by yourself or with your family, (2) in your den or pack, or (3) in school. Once you have earned the belt loop, you can stop. But if you want to do more with the activity, you may complete extra requirements to earn a pin. Download this requirement guide and print pages as needed to submit to your den leader. For those who are interested in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM), there is a program for them. STEM and Nova awards are another outlet for learning and achieving.
There are other awards including: Cub Scout Outdoor Activity Award, Religious Emblems, Cub Scout World Conservation Award, Cub Scoutings' Leave No Trace Awareness Award to name a few.
